Law Enforcement Drone Association Partners with National Public Safety Drone Donation Program to Bring Drone Technology to Departments in Need

The Partnership

The Law Enforcement Drone Association (LEDA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created by law enforcement officers, for law enforcement officers who operate unmanned aircraft systems (drones) for public safety.

LEDA focuses primarily on training conference events throughout the country but also strives to create solid virtual content for its members. LEDA is setting the standard of training for law enforcement UAS operators throughout the country.

LEDA is passionate about the work the National Public Safety Drone Donation Program is doing and is partnering with them in an effort to bring UAS training to public safety agencies receiving donated aircraft. Law enforcement agencies, or public safety agencies supporting law enforcement in UAS operations who are chosen to receive an aircraft from the NPS-DDP will also receive a one-year LEDA membership which includes up to ten pilots so they can obtain the training resources they need to have an effective program.

NPS-DDP accepts donations from private citizens, drone manufacturers, or corporate donors like SkyBrowse,  Autel Robotics, and Fox Fury lighting solutions. We are very proud to know work with training organizations like LEDA to help support public safety.

“Eyes In The Sky For Every Department In Need"

About NPS-DDP

The mission of NPS-DDP was founded by Airborne Works with a focus to recruit others to help support our national public safety departments nationwide with UAV/UAS technology through voluntary donations, be it hardware, financial and/or media support from the private, corporate and community sectors.

Together we can help support those who give so much. The goal is to help put “Eyes In The Sky For Every Department In Need” ™.

About Law Enforcement Drone Association

Our Leadership Team, made up of the Executive Board and Steering Committee, is forged by law enforcement officers with a passion for bringing drones into the public safety sector for good. They have worked together to create a passion within their community for training, learning, and the advancement of UAS technology in policing. LEDA is expanding rapidly to cover the United States and, in doing so, is expanding their reach by bringing in Steering Committee members from different areas of the country. Having members of the Leadership Team from all over the country plays a pivotal role in bringing training to the right people from within an agency’s general area. As LEDA grows, we will continue to nominate and appoint new Steering Committee members to the association.
